Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. in Cincinnati, OH is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations and develop a high-performing team. You will assist with daily tasks, supervise associates, and ensure excellent customer service on the sales floor.

Responsibilities include inventory, merchandising, opening and closing procedures, loss prevention, and maintaining a clean, organized store that meets company standards. This role offers part-time hours and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Store management experience in retail or grocery preferred
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks
• Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment
• Excellent customer service and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions
• Move merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged goods, payroll, scheduling, and cash handling
• Maintain clean, well-stocked store areas and ensure safety and loss prevention standards
• Supervise and develop Store Associates and maintain a positive, respectful environment
