Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Cincinnati to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with daily activities, merchandising, and opening/closing tasks while ensuring a positive, safe shopping environment for customers and staff.

The role emphasizes strong communication, teamwork, and hands-on leadership to meet corporate standards and drive store performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery or drug store environment preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Strong communication and written skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and answer questions.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Maintain promotional displays and store cleanliness to company standards.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, and cash handling.
• Support Store Manager in training and developing Store Associates.
