Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development in Victoria, TX. You will assist with daily activities, help customers, organize merchandise, and ensure a clean, safe, and compliant store environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Retail store management experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs. and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication and organizational skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor; maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Follow corporate directives and communicate store information.
• Maintain fixtures, displays, and promotional effectiveness.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged items, payroll/scheduling, and cash handling.
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked store and secure assets including cash.
• Enforce store policies and safety guidelines; supervise and develop Store Associates.
• Foster a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
