Dollar Tree, Inc. in Victoria, Texas is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with opening/closing, merchandising, and implementing corporate directives.

You will lead associates, ensure safety, maintain clean shelves and stockrooms, and help with ordering, payroll and loss prevention. Strong communication and physical ability are required; retail management experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Store management experience in retail preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and daily activities.
• Help customers with questions and concerns.
• Organize merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Process corporate directives related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional displays and store fixtures.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged goods, and record-keeping.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked store and secure assets.
• Supervise and develop Store Associates under the Store Manager.
• Ensure a safe, respectful environment for customers and staff.
