Family Dollar is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Inman, SC to help run store operations, assist customers, and develop the team. You will oversee daily activities, support ordering and loss prevention, and ensure a safe, welcoming shopping environment for guests.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks (standing, walking, bending, etc.).
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Exceptional customer service, organizational, and communication skills.
• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Assist in payroll, scheduling, and cash handling, and loss prevention.
• Support Store Manager in supervising and developing Store Associates.
• Maintain a clean, safe store environment and ensure policies are followed.
