Family Dollar in Cross, SC seeks an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with daily tasks, help customers, organize merchandise, and ensure store standards are met.

Responsibilities include opening/closing duties, payroll and scheduling, and loss prevention. The role emphasizes supervising staff, maintaining a safe, presentable store, and delivering excellent service in a fast-paced environment.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Physical ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform repetitive movements.

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize, transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Maintain promotional effectiveness of fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise and processing damaged items, payroll, scheduling, and cash deposits.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom.
• Protect and secure all company assets, including cash.
• Ensure safety policies and procedures are followed by associates.
• Help supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
