Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service and team development.

The role includes assisting with daily store activities, helping customers, organizing merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor, and ensuring seasonal areas are well-maintained. Other duties include opening/closing procedures, processing directives, and overseeing merchandise ordering, damaged goods, payroll, scheduling and loss prevention.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
