Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. The role involves organizing merchandise, assisting customers, and helping manage daily duties to ensure a high-performing store.

The candidate will participate in supervising, training, and developing Store Associates while maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for customers and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; ability to read and explain operational directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environments preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers with questions and concerns in a positive manner.
• Organize, transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor.
• Maintain store cleanliness and presentable shelves and floors.
• Help the Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Process directives including payroll, scheduling, and cash deposits; manage loss prevention.
