Foot Locker is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to energize the floor, own responsibilities, and support the Store Manager in driving sales and coaching the team. This hands-on leader will engage customers, coach teammates, and ensure a seamless store experience on a daily basis.

You’ll lead with urgency, maintain standards, and use retail tools to execute store priorities, safety practices, and loss-prevention measures while delivering a standout customer journey.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of retail experience, preferably in a leadership or key holding role.
• Ability to coach, motivate, and engage a diverse team.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Reliable, self motivated, and ready to take ownership.
• Basic understanding of retail KPIs and operational processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example on the sales floor with an energetic mindset.
• Coach the team to deliver great service, share product knowledge, and excite customers.
• Support sales goals by staying engaged on the floor and helping close the loop with customers.
• Help manage daily store operations including opening/closing, cash handling, and floor coverage.
• Maintain store organization, readiness, and smooth operations while following SOPs.
• Take ownership of store execution and address issues to uphold standards.
• Leverage retail technology to enhance customer experience and operations.
