Job summary

Foot Locker is seeking an Assistant Store Manager who will lead on the sales floor with energy and accountability, coaching the team to deliver exceptional service and achieve store goals. You’ll manage daily operations, ensure safety standards, and leverage technology to improve efficiency.

You’ll work with a dynamic team in a fast-paced retail environment, supporting scheduling, training, and performance coaching to drive a superior customer experience.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of retail experience, preferably in a leadership or key holder role.
• Ability to coach, motivate, and engage a diverse team.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Reliable, self-motivated, and ready to take ownership.
• Basic understanding of retail KPIs and operational processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example on the sales floor with energy, confidence, and solutions to customer interactions.
• Coach the team to deliver great service, share product knowledge, and keep customers excited to shop.
• Support sales goals by staying engaged on the floor and helping the team close the loop with customers.
• Manage daily store operations including opening/closing, cash handling, and floor coverage.
• Follow safety, loss prevention, and SOPs to protect customers, teammates, and product.
• Leverage retail technology to enhance service and operations.
