Job summary

Bath & Body Works in Fort Worth is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to partner with the Store Manager in developing outstanding associates, delivering exceptional and consistent customer experiences, and driving growth for the brand.

As a store leader, you will hire, coach, and motivate the team; set daily goals; supervise operations; and ensure selling excellence while upholding safety and company standards in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering sales and customer experience in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Previous experience in a manager role, preferably in retail.
• Customer-first based retail mindset.
• Ability to provide in-the-moment coaching to associates.
• Flexible with varied shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Strong communication and adaptability.

Responsibilities

• Attract, hire, develop, inspire, and retain top talent.
• Set and reinforce performance expectations, goals, and accountability with all associates.
• Act as Manager on Duty when scheduled to address customer experience, vendor relationships, or maintenance issues.
• Partner with Sales Leadership Team to support action plans and execute operations.
• Lead floorset direction to optimize the business and product storytelling.
• Perform opening/closing routines and payroll coverage while maintaining selling focus.
• Provide feedback and recommendations to managers.
• Lead in-store customer experiences through selling behaviors and product knowledge.
• Create genuine connections with customers by uncovering needs and providing recommendations.
• Train and motivate associates to improve selling and customer experience.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and adherence to policies.
