Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in sales, customer service, store appearance and operations. The role will lead the store team during the Manager’s absence and on opposing shifts, ensuring peak performance and high service levels.

Bilingual candidates encouraged. You will participate in staffing, training, coaching, and daily store tasks, including opening/closing duties and ensuring compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

• Experience leading store teams to deliver excellent customer service.
• Experience in hiring tasks and staff interviews.
• Fluency in multiple languages is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise showroom customer service levels and program execution.
• Assist store manager with staffing during peak hours.
• Assist in hiring, interviewing, and candidate selection.
• Ensure all orders and transfers are processed promptly and accurately.
• Ensure returns and refunds are processed efficiently and correctly.
• Ensure merchandise is invoiced before leaving the store.
