Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environments preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment.
• Exceptional customer service and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and answer questions.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Follow corporate directives and store communications.
• Maintain store fixtures, displays, and promotional effectiveness.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged stock, and records (including payroll and cash handling).
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom.
• Protect assets including store cash and follow safety procedures.
• Help Store Manager supervise, train, and develop associates.
• Ensure a safe, respectful environment with professional customer interactions.
• Keep bathrooms and store areas clean and presentable; take out trash.
