Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in White Oak, PA to assist with daily store operations, customer service, and team development. You will support opening/closing, merchandise organization, and adherence to corporate directives while maintaining clean, safe, and inviting sales floors.

Ideal candidates bring strong communication skills, previous store leadership in retail or grocery, and the ability to lift 55 lbs as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Retail/grocery management experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily store operations and activities.
• Help customers with inquiries and resolve concerns.
• Organize merchandise and transfer from delivery to stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process directives and handle store communications.
• Maintain attractive front-end fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering, processing damaged goods, and payroll/scheduling records.
• Keep store areas clean, organized, and stocked per standards.
• Protect company assets, including cash & inventory.
• Ensure adherence to policies and safety guidelines.
• Support Store Manager in training and development of Associates.
• Provide a positive, safe, and professional environment for customers and staff.
