Job summary

Dollar Tree in New Holland, PA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help run daily store operations, lead a small team, and deliver friendly, efficient service to customers.

You will assist with stocking, cashier duties, scheduling, training, and ensuring policies are followed, while maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming store environment. This part-time position offers growth opportunities and exposure to retail leadership.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience managing retail or grocery operations preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns they may have.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional effectiveness of store-front fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, record keeping including payroll, scheduling, cash handling, and loss prevention.
• Maintain clean and organized store areas to company standards.
• Protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to policies and procedures including safety guidelines.
• Help Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store including bathrooms, floors, trash, and neat presentation.
• Other duties as assigned.
