Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in sales, customer service, and store operations in a busy Maine location. You will lead the team during the Store Manager’s absence, drive key metrics, and ensure a welcoming, efficient showroom experience for both retail and professional customers.

The role emphasizes leadership, training, and recruiting activities, with bilingual candidates encouraged.

Qualifications

• Required: Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification and RSS Certification.
• Desired: Certified Parts Professional Certification; ASE Certification Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)

Responsibilities

• Lead the store team in delivering excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels at the showroom and guide the team on service programs.
• Ensure adequate staffing during peak hours and during shifts.
• Assist in goal setting, coaching, and training of team members.
• Participate in interviewing and onboarding of new hires.
• Ensure all transactions, returns, and exchanges are processed accurately and efficiently.
• Communicate policies and ensure team adherence during all shifts.
