Boot Barn in Dayton, OH is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to partner with the Store Manager in leading daily operations and driving sales. This role emphasizes customer service excellence, partner development, and adherence to merchandising standards while supporting store goals and community engagement.

Ideal candidates will have 2–4 years in retail management or an Associate's degree, strong leadership and communication skills, and the flexibility to work varied shifts.

Responsibilities

• Lead partners to foster a service and selling culture and exceed customer expectations.
• Coach and review goals with partners; provide feedback and recognition; be present on the sales floor during peak hours.
• Assist with partner training plans to improve store performance across operations and merchandising; develop team members' career goals.
• Collaborate with Store Manager on scheduling, operating directives, interview/hiring, and training.
• Communicate localized customer needs to Store Manager and plan community outreach events.
• Lead loyalty program engagement and drive individual and team goals.
• Maintain stock levels, adjacencies, signages, and visual merchandising per guidelines.
• Oversee inventory receipt accuracy and processing; support shrink reduction strategies.
