Englefield, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Manager to support daily operations, coach staff, and deliver outstanding customer service in a fast-paced retail setting. You will assist the Store Manager with scheduling, training, and maintaining store standards.

The role emphasizes leadership, teamwork, and a focus on guest experience, with opportunities for growth and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

Education – High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience – 1+ year of leadership experience in retail or food service.
Operations – Comfortable with scheduling, inventory, and basic store systems.
Tech comfort – Familiar with POS systems and basic software (Word, Excel, Email).
ServeSafe certification – Required or willingness to obtain.
Customer focus – Committed to creating a welcoming experience for every guest.

Responsibilities

Support store operations including staffing, inventory, and shift leadership.
Coach and train team members to deliver friendly, efficient service.
Ensure the store stays clean, safe, and customer-ready.
Step in to lead when the Store Manager is away help drive performance goals and maintain compliance standards.
Build relationships with customers, vendors, and your team.
Other Qualifications include, but are not limited to walking, standing, squatting, lifting, carrying, and reaching. Ability to work in demanding circumstances including variable temperatures, indoors and outdoors.
