Job summary

Lids is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead store operations, coach associates, and deliver exceptional customer service. This role requires hands-on leadership, strong communication, and a focus on sales, service, and loss prevention.

You will schedule staff, support training, execute merchandising plans, and help drive KPIs while maintaining the brand standards and a welcoming store environment. Join a network of teams delivering fan experiences across North America.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail management or supervisory role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead, coach and develop store staff.
• Familiarity with loss prevention and cash handling procedures.

Responsibilities

• Act as Manager on duty when Store Manager is absent.
• Lead store associates through training programs and goal setting.
• Administer progressive discipline as needed.
• Foster a respectful, inclusive team environment and uphold Brand Standards.
• Manage scheduling to cover peaks and store needs.
• Recruit and train store personnel on operations and procedures.
• Ensure policy compliance and protect company assets.
• Support achieving KPIs and delivering exceptional customer service.
