A high school diploma and prior store management experience are preferred, with duties including staff training, merchandising, and loss prevention.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read, interpret operational directives is required.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Assist in organizing and transferring merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures and follow corporate directives.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays and ensure store standards.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, payroll, scheduling, and cash handling.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional store environment; train and develop Store Associates.
• Protect company assets and ensure compliance with policies and safety guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned.
