Family Dollar in Church Hill, TN is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help with store operations and customer service. You will assist with daily activities, merchandise transfer, and team development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read and explain operational directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. and perform frequent moving and physical tasks.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day store activities and operations.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Assist in payroll, scheduling, and cash handling and loss prevention.
