Citi Trends is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily store operations, lead the team, and assist with staffing and development. You will partner with the Store Manager to drive sales, maintain standards, and ensure excellent customer experiences in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–4 years of experience as an Assistant Manager or similar retail leadership role.
• 3–5 years of overall retail experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and people leadership skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations, including percentages.

Responsibilities

• Support daily store operations to ensure sales goals and customer experience standards are met.
• Monitor sales activity and guide associates to deliver excellent service.
• Assist with inventory control, transactions, and shrink prevention.
• Ensure adherence to Citi Trends policies and standards.
• Supervise associates in sales, inventory, cash handling, and customer service.
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training support.
• Maintain staffing levels through recruiting efforts and retention.
• Provide coaching and performance feedback to associates.
• Maintain a safe, organized store environment and enforce policies.
• Support merchandising, operational, and visual standards.
