Job summary

Sally Beauty is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the Store Manager in leading daily store operations, driving sales, and delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.

As part of the role, you will oversee brand standards, coach a diverse team, manage schedules, and ensure omni-channel processes are followed to meet business goals, with a focus on continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Retail sales/customer service experience preferred.
• At least 1+ year(s) prior management experience preferred.
• Cosmetology license desirable, but not required.

Responsibilities

• 30% Brand: supervise and plan associates’ daily goals to deliver an exceptional client experience and maximize sales/KPIs.
• 30% People: train and develop teams, recruit to fill positions, coach and address performance.
• 30% Operations: ensure execution of company processes, support digital strategies, Omni-channel fulfillment.
• Store payroll hours and scheduling to business needs; ensure opening/closing procedures.
• 10% Safety/Loss Prevention: maintain safe store environment and protect assets; follow cash/inventory controls.
