Sally Beauty is seeking an Assistant Manager – Store Manager to lead store operations and develop a high-performing team in a busy retail environment. You will hire, train and coach associates, ensuring outstanding customer service while achieving sales targets.

You will support the Store Manager and assume primary duties in their absence, with a focus on brand standards, inventory control, scheduling and store safety. This role emphasizes leadership and customer focus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• 3+ years of retail sales/customer service experience preferred.
• 1+ year(s) of prior management experience preferred.
• Ability to lead or support a team to meet business objectives.
• Effective communication with team and management.
• Scheduling availability to meet store needs.
• Cosmetology license desirable, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Brand (30%): Supervises daily goals and activities to deliver an exceptional client experience and maximize sales.
• People (30%): Trains and develops the team, recruits when needed and addresses performance.
• Operations (30%): Ensures processes are followed, including Omni‑channel fulfillment, inventory, payroll hours and schedules.
• Safety / Loss Prevention (10%): Maintains a safe store, protects assets and follows policies.
