Sally Beauty is seeking an Assistant Manager in Chicago to lead store associates, support the Store Manager, and drive performance across brand standards, merchandising and customer service. This role emphasizes developing people, managing daily operations, and upholding safety and loss-prevention goals.

The Assistant Manager will partner with the Store Manager to achieve KPIs, optimize schedule efficiency, and ensure a positive shopping experience for every guest.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Minimum 3+ years retail sales/customer service experience preferred.
• At least 1+ year(s) prior management experience preferred.
• Cosmetology license desirable, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead store associates to achieve KPIs and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
• Support Store Manager with hiring, training and coaching.
• Oversee store operations including merchandising, inventory, scheduling and payroll hours.
• Ensure adherence to brand standards, policies and safety procedures.
