Job summary

Family Dollar in Alabama is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily store operations, improve customer service, and develop store teams. You will assist with merchandise, cash handling, and loss prevention while ensuring a clean, well-organized sales floor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, and pulling.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize merchandise delivery and maintain stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
