Job summary

GPM Investments, LLC is seeking an Assistant Manager for our Cary, NC store. You will support daily operations, run the register, coach a high-performing team, and step in as acting manager when needed.

The role requires open availability on weekends and holidays, strong customer service, and leadership skills. A Food Safety Certification is required or obtainable, with opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• Proficient in English with basic math skills.
• Willing to obtain Food Safety Certification.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in day-to-day operations.
• Run the register and assist customers with speed and accuracy.
• Coach and motivate team members to upsell products and promotions.
• Help hire, train, and lead a high-performing team.
• Step in as acting manager when the Store Manager is off.
• Handle inventory, ordering, and merchandising to keep the store stocked.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming store and fueling areas.
• Create and manage team schedules for full coverage.
• Perform daily cash handling, deposits, and oversee store financials.
• Provide feedback and leadership to motivate the team.
