Job summary

GPM Investments, LLC is seeking an Assistant Manager for our high-energy convenience store in North Carolina. You will support the Store Manager in daily operations, handle cash, supervise a team, and ensure outstanding customer service across shifts.

This role requires open availability, weekend and holiday work, and a Food Safety Certification is preferred or obtainable during employment. We offer weekly pay, a 401(k) plan, PTO, and opportunities for career growth toward store management.

Qualifications

• Minimum Age 18+ required.
• Food Safety Certification beneficial or obtainable during employment.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in day-to-day operations.
• Run the register and assist customers with speed and accuracy.
• Coach and motivate team members to upsell products and promotions.
• Help hire, train, and lead a high-performing team focused on customer service.
• Step in as acting manager when the Store Manager is off.
• Handle inventory, ordering, and merchandising to keep the store stocked.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming store environment and restrooms.
• Create and manage team schedules to ensure full coverage.
• Perform daily cash handling and store financial oversight.
