The Salvation Army in Kentwood, MI is hiring an Assistant Store Manager. You will assist the Store Manager with daily operations, supervise staff, manage sales and maintenance, and help with banking and records to support store performance.

This full-time role offers comprehensive benefits after 90 days and on-the-job coaching to enhance retail and customer service skills within a values-driven team.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2 years of retail experience (thrift experience a plus).
• Valid Driver's License is required.
• Basic computer proficiency including POS systems.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.

Responsabilidades

• Support staff training and supervision as assigned.
• Implement strategies to meet production and sales goals.
• Assist manager with store maintenance and appearance, ensuring safety, security, cleanliness, and utility.
• Work with store manager to keep income and expenses within budgeted parameters.
• Protect resources through product control procedures to prevent shrinkage.
