Job summary

TitleMax in Scottsdale, AZ is hiring an Assistant Store Manager to lead daily store operations, assist customers with financial services, and drive revenue while maintaining risk controls. You will coach staff, manage POS workflows, and ensure compliance with policies in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum one year’s experience in customer service, sales, or retail.
• At least 3 months of supervisory, key holder, or relevant leadership experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in using phones, POS system, Microsoft Office, and other computer systems.
• Must be at least 18 years of age (19 in Alabama).
• Background check required.
• Ability to meet physical demands including standing, lifting up to 25 pounds, store navigation.

Responsibilities

• Maximize customer success by offering financial services that fit their needs.
• Assess risk of financial transactions and process loan/pawn applications, check cashing transactions and related products.
• Complete daily call campaigns to market services and build new business.
• Oversee account management and recovery processes while focusing on customer service.
• Maintain customer information in the POS system with accuracy.
• Provide coaching and development to Customer Service Representatives when applicable.
• Perform duties outside the office, including on-site vehicle appraisals and store errands.
• Meet company performance standards through partnerships, referrals, and in-store/community events.
• Maintain security protocols and manage vault and cash drawer.
• Ensure compliance with policies and laws; conduct store audits and reports.
• Monitor store appearance and coordinate maintenance.
• Handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Carry out additional tasks as directed by leadership.
• Maintain a full-time in-person schedule (40 hours/wk) including weekends.
