TitleMax in Athens, AL is hiring an Assistant Store Manager to lead daily operations, serve customers, and drive store performance.

You will supervise the front-line team, manage cash and POS, and ensure compliance while delivering exceptional service to our community. This full-time role includes paid training, growth opportunities, and cross-brand advancement within the Community Choice Financial Family of Brands.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year’s experience in customer service, sales, or retail.
• At least 3 months of supervisory, key holder, or relevant leadership experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in using phones, POS system, Microsoft Office, and other computer systems.
• Must be at least 18 years of age (19 in Alabama).
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and personal vehicle to use throughout the workday (mileage compensated).
• Background check required.
• The ability to meet the physical demands of this position, which frequently includes remaining in a stationary position, including standing up to 90% of the time; moving and transporting up to 25 pounds; moving inside and outside of the store; and operating mechanical controls, such as a keyboard.

Responsibilities

• Maximize customer service by offering financial services.
• Assess risk of financial transactions and accurately process loan/pawn applications, check cashing transactions and ancillary products.
• Complete daily call campaigns to market services and build new business.
• Oversee account management and recovery processes with focus on service to prevent loss.
• Maintain customer information in POS with accuracy.
• Coach and develop Customer Service Representatives to meet quality standards.
• Perform duties outside of the office, including on-site vehicle appraisals and store errands.
• Maintain store appearance and conduct audits for compliance.
• Work a full-time schedule including weekends.
