Job summary

The Community Choice Financial Family of Brands is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for our New Caney, TX location. You will support customers with financial services, help lead a small team, and handle daily operations to drive service and sales while maintaining risk controls.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum one year’s experience in customer service, sales, or retail.
• At least 3 months of supervisory, key holder, or relevant leadership experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in using phones, POS system, Microsoft Office, and other computer systems.
• Must be at least 18 years of age (19 in Alabama).
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and personal vehicle to use throughout the workday (mileage compensated).
• Background check required. All background checks are conducted, and their results are considered, in accordance with applicable law.
• The ability to meet the physical demands of this position, which frequently includes remaining in a stationary position.

Responsibilities

• Maximize customer success by offering financial services that fit their needs.
• Assess risk of financial transactions, evaluate, and accurately process loan/pawn applications, check cashing transactions and ancillary products.
• Complete daily call campaigns to market services, build new business, and nurture customer relationships.
• Oversee account management and recovery processes, including collection calls, while maintaining a focus on customer service to prevent loss.
• Maintain customer information in the POS system with accuracy and integrity.
• Provide support, coaching, and development to Customer Service Representatives, when applicable.
• Perform duties outside of the office, including on site vehicle appraisals and store errands.
• Work to meet Company-set performance standards by leveraging partnerships and hosting in-store events.
• Maintain store appearance and cleanliness, address basic facility needs.
• Maintain a full-time schedule with regular in-person attendance, including weekends.
