Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You’ll assist with daily functions, help customers, organize merchandise, and ensure the sales floor and stockroom stay stocked and presentable.

The role requires strong communication, the ability to lead in a fast-paced retail environment, and a commitment to safety and policy compliance. You’ll help with scheduling, payroll, and loss prevention while supporting the Store

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Exceptional customer service and organizational skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Help organize merchandise and maintain seasonal displays.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Process directives and store communications.
• Maintain store cleanliness and organization.
• Assist in payroll, scheduling, and cash handling; loss prevention.
• Support Store Manager in supervising and developing associates.
