Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with daily functions, help customers, organize merchandise, and ensure safe and efficient store operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain directives is required.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical duties including walking, standing, and moving.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment is required.
• Exceptional customer service, organizational, and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to floor and maintain seasonal displays.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional storefront fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, payroll/scheduling, and cash deposits/receipts, and loss prevention.
• Maintain a well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom to company standards.
• Protect and secure store assets, including cash.
• Adhere to policies and safety guidelines and ensure staff follow them.
• Help Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful store environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
