Boot Barn seeks an Assistant Store Manager in Anchorage, AK, to partner with the Store Manager and District Manager in driving sales growth, coaching partners, and delivering exceptional customer service. The role emphasizes merchandising, store operations, and leadership in a customer-focused environment.

The position requires collaboration, process improvement, and the ability to adapt to changing business needs while upholding Boot Barn’s values and community focus.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or equivalent retail management experience.
• 2–4 years of direct reports leadership in a selling environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Ability to work varied shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Up to 15% travel to support local stores.

Responsibilities

• Lead partners to foster a service and selling culture and exceed customer expectations.
• Coach and develop team members; be present on the floor during peak hours.
• Train and implement store policies, staffing, and procedures in collaboration with the Store Manager.
• Plan and execute volume-driving events and community outreach with the Store Manager.
• Support inventory, merchandising standards, and loss prevention initiatives.
