Job summary

Boot Barn is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to join the leadership team. You will partner with the Store Manager to drive excellent customer service, merchandising standards, and store sales goals while developing partners and executing store operations.

You will collaborate with District leadership to implement strategies that improve productivity and customer engagement, while maintaining Boot Barn’s West-inspired values and community-driven approach.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or 2–4 years of experience in retail store management.
• Experience managing direct reports and leading teams in a selling environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication, customer service, time management and organization skills.
• Availability to work a variety of shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Up to 15% travel to support local stores, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead partners to foster a service and selling culture and build long-standing customer relationships.
• Coach and mentor partners with regular feedback and on-floor presence during peak hours.
• Train and develop team members to meet career goals and improve store performance.
• Collaborate with Store Manager on schedules, policies, and staffing, including interviewing and onboarding.
