Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts in Texas is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in sales, customer service, store appearance and operations. This role will lead the store team during the manager's absence and handle opposing shifts.

The ideal candidate will be bilingual and possess strong coaching, recruiting, and shift-coverage skills to ensure top service levels and efficient workflows. The position offers growth opportunities within a well-established retail chain.

Qualifications

• Must have Sales Specialist Training and Assistant Manager Certification.
• RSS Certification preferred.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Lead the store team in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels on the showroom floor and execute customer service programs.
• Coordinate staffing of the retail sales counter during peak hours and maintain service levels.
• Assist in hiring tasks including coordinating interviews and evaluating candidates.
• Ensure timely processing of buy online/ship to store, hub, and store-to-store transfers.
