Job summary

O'Reilly Automotive Stores is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in sales, customer service, store appearance and store operations. This role will manage the store during the Store Manager’s absence and/or when working opposing shifts, leading the team to deliver exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Sales and customer service experience required or preferred.
• Assistant Manager Certification and RSS Certification required.
• Spanish language ability is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Lead the store team to provide excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels in the retail showroom and related programs.
• Ensure adequate staffing during peak hours and assist in training and mentoring.
• Participate in hiring, interviewing, and selecting qualified team members.
• Manage opening/closing duties, cash handling, and security procedures.
• Oversee stock, transfers, and processing of special orders and returns.
