Bath & Body Works is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to partner with the Store Manager in developing outstanding associates and delivering exceptional customer experiences. You will lead, coach, and motivate a sales team to achieve growth across the store and be a front-line leader in our retail leadership structure.

You will attract top talent, set clear performance expectations, manage payroll targets, and ensure a selling-focused environment while lifting product knowledge and brand

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering sales, customer experience, and operational results in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior experience in a manager role, preferably in a retail setting.
• Thrives in a customer-first based retail environment.
• Ability to foster a customer-focused selling culture.
• Effective communication and ability to coach associates.
• Able to work peak days and varied shifts.

Responsibilities

• Attract, hire, develop, inspire, and retain top talent.
• Set and reinforce performance expectations, goals, and accountability.
• Act as Manager on Duty as scheduled to handle customer experience and maintenance issues.
• Partner with Sales Leadership Team to improve results and execute plans.
• Lead floorset direction to showcase product story and drive sales.
• Perform opening/closing routines and payroll planning.
• Provide feedback to managers and coaches to improve selling and customer experience.
• Meet payroll targets with appropriate sales floor coverage.
