Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the GM in day-to-day store operations in Suffolk, VA. You will help supervise hourly staff, maintain cash handling, and ensure inventory control while upholding company policies and safety guidelines.

The role requires flexible hours, strong communication, and basic computer skills. The position includes health benefits, development opportunities, and a path to growth within a Fortune 500 company.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years supervisory experience.
• Ability to communicate, count, read, and write accurately.
• Ability to perform basic computer functions.

Responsibilities

• Complete required daily accounting paperwork and transmit by deadline.
• Supervise, develop, train and discipline non-exempt (hourly) employees, holding them accountable for upholding operational standards.
• Monitors shift cash handling and inventory.
• Assists in investigations of shortages/overages of $100 per month or less as well as inventory variations of .5% of sales or less.
• Maintains business records, review cashier accountability sheets and records prescribed by the General Manager and or Territory Manager.
• Perform banking, invoicing, payroll, and/or other administrative duties as requested, adhering to all Global Partner's cash control policies.
