Job summary

SecureSpace Self Storage is seeking an energetic Assistant Store Manager to support Store/Area/District leadership in achieving store goals. You will drive sales, assist customers, and coordinate lease processes while ensuring a safe, clean environment.

The role requires a customer-service mindset, 1+ year in related fields, and proficiency with Word/Excel. Weekend work and occasional travel to nearby locations are possible.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in storage, retail, or hospitality.
• Strong use of the English language in verbal and written communication.
• Provides consistent support to the Store Manager and acts as a backup in their absence.
• Customer service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Promote unit rentals, warranties, and moving supplies to surpass sales targets.
• Guide new customers through the rental process for smooth transactions.
• Reach out to clients to confirm moving dates and ensure units are ready and secure.
• Assist in managing accounts of past-due tenants and processing lien/auction paperwork.
• Conduct daily property inspections to maintain security, cleanliness, and upkeep.
