Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the General Manager in day-to-day operations at our Swampscott, MA location. You will help supervise staff, ensure policy adherence, and maintain store standards while delivering excellent guest service.

The ASM handles daily accounting tasks, cash control, inventory monitoring, and coordinates operational activities, reporting to the General Manager/ Territory Manager and participating in promotional initiatives to drive

Qualifications

• 1-2 years supervisory experience.
• Able to communicate, count, read and write accurately.
• Able to perform basic computer functions.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
• Flexible hours including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Vocational or Technical Education High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Complete required daily accounting paperwork and transmit by deadline.
• Supervise, develop, train and discipline non-exempt employees, upholding standards.
• Monitor shift cash handling and inventory; assist in investigations.
• Maintain business records and cashier accountability sheets.
• Perform banking, invoicing, payroll and other admin duties per policies.
• Manage cash procedures including deposits and change orders.
