Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to assist the GM with day-to-day operations while upholding company policies. The ASM will supervise hourly staff, manage cash handling and inventory, and ensure store cleanliness, safety, and promotional execution. The role requires flexible hours, leadership skills, and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Must be available to work flexible hours including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• 1-2 years supervisory experience.
• Ability to communicate, count, read, and write accurately.
• Ability to perform basic computer functions.
• Must have reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs during a shift.
• Ability to access all areas of the store.

Responsibilities

• Complete required daily accounting paperwork and transmit by deadline.
• Supervise, develop, train and discipline non-exempt employees.
• Monitor shift cash handling and inventory; assist in investigations of shortages/overages.
• Maintain business records and cashier accountability sheets.
• Perform banking, invoicing, payroll, and other administrative duties as requested.
• Manage cash management procedures including bank deposits.
• Maintain Grand Opening Ready Standards and store image.
• Maintain high levels of cleanliness and sanitation.
• Ensure store is secure and safe; report issues to management.
• Coordinate gasoline deliveries and participate in promotions.
• Promote guest service and participate in company initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned by General Manager/Territory Manager.
