Global Partners LP is seeking an Assistant Store Manager (ASM) in Lowell, MA to assist the general manager with daily store operations, supervise hourly staff, and ensure cash handling, inventory control, and guest service standards are met. The position requires 1-2 years of supervisory experience, reliable transportation, and the ability to work flexible hours including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years supervisory experience.
• Ability to work unsupervised.
• Ability to communicate, count, read, and write accurately.
• Ability to perform basic computer functions.
• Must have reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
• Ability to work in intermittent temperatures, outside, cooler, etc.
• Lift up to 25 lbs during a shift; able to reach, bend, twist, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb stairs.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Vocational or Technical Education High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist the general manager with day-to-day store operations.
• Supervise, train and discipline non-exempt employees; ensure operational standards.
• Oversee cash handling, inventory, banking, invoicing, and payroll duties as requested.
• Maintain store cleanliness, safety, and signage; promote guest service.
• Coordinate promotions and ensure store image standards are followed.
