Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the General Manager in day-to-day store operations. The ASM will supervise hourly employees, handle cash controls, inventory, banking, payroll, and administration, ensuring compliance with company policies.

The role requires flexibility for day, night, weekends, and holidays, and a minimum of 1–2 years supervisory experience with strong communication skills and reliability.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of supervisory experience.
• Able to work unsupervised.
• Ability to communicate, count, read and write accurately.
• Able to perform basic computer functions.
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Able to work in intermittent temperatures (outdoors, cooler).
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Vocational or Technical Education High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Complete required daily accounting paperwork and transmit by deadline.
• Supervise, develop, train and discipline non-exempt employees, holding them accountable for upholding operational standards.
• Monitors shift cash handling and inventory; assist in investigations of shortages/overages and inventory variations.
• Maintains business records and cashier accountability sheets.
• Perform banking, invoicing, payroll and other administrative duties as requested.
• Manage cash management procedures including bank deposits and change orders.
• Maintain Grand Opening Ready Standards and store image standards.
• Maintain high levels of cleanliness and sanitation.
• Ensure store is secure and safe; comply with safety and environmental guidelines.
• Coordinate gasoline deliveries and ensure adequate gasoline levels.
• Engage in all company promotional initiatives and guest service.
