Job summary

CNG Holdings, Inc. — the family of brands including Check N Go, Allied Cash Advance and Cash Store — is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Sedalia, MO.

You will lead customer service, educate customers on loan and payment options, and ensure compliance and accurate cash handling in a fast-paced retail environment. You will supervise daily operations, balance cash, support outbound sales, and collaborate with store leadership to deliver outstanding service across the product portfolio.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• 1+ year of experience with sales, customer service, and/or cash handling.
• Strong customer service, active listening, and verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
• Ability and willingness to multitask and work in an autonomous environment.
• Must have own transportation, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Serve and educate customers on the product portfolio by presenting all options that meet their needs.
• Escalate issues to the store manager, DDO, and corporate office if unable to resolve the issue.
• Answer telephone inquiries regarding general questions, customer applications, requests, or other issues.
• Perform outbound customer sales, courtesy, and collection calls in accordance with federal regulations and procedures.
• Respond professionally and accurately to customers, explaining possible solutions and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Handle and count currency, cash, and coins; manage cash drawer and deposits; support bank runs if required.
• Balance batch receipts with store sales reports and resolve over/short discrepancies.
• Process all transactions per company policy (loans, check cashing, Net Spend).
• Complete compliance trainings and quarterly I Agree.
• Travel to stores within district; may require overnight travel.
