Job summary

GPM Investments LLC is seeking an Assistant Manager for our convenient store in Richmond, VA. You will support daily operations, manage the register, and lead a customer-focused team across second or third shifts. Open availability and a strong work ethic are essential for success.

You’ll help with hiring and training, oversee inventory and merchandising, and ensure a clean, safe store environment. Growth opportunities exist toward store management.

Qualifications

Must be at least 21 years old.
Proficient in English with basic math skills.
Willing to work weekends, holidays, and second/third shifts.

Responsibilities

Support the Store Manager in day-to-day operations.
Run the register and assist customers with speed and accuracy.
Coach and motivate team members to upsell products and promotions.
Help hire, train, and lead a high-performing team focused on service.
Step in as acting manager when the Store Manager is off.
Handle inventory, ordering, and merchandising to keep stock full.
Maintain a clean, welcoming store including restrooms and pumps.
Create and manage team schedules for full coverage.
Perform daily cash handling and deposits.
