Job summary

GPM Investments LLC is seeking an Assistant Manager for our high-energy convenience store. You will support the Store Manager, oversee daily operations, supervise a team, manage cash handling, scheduling, inventory, and merchandising, and ensure excellent customer service.

This role requires open availability for weekends and holidays, including second or third shifts. It offers growth toward store management and a chance to lead a fast-paced retail team.

Qualifications

• Experience in fast-paced retail environments preferred.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Strong customer-service focus and POS accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in day-to-day operations.
• Run the register with speed and accuracy.
• Coach and motivate team to upsell products and promotions.
• Hire, train, and lead a high-performing team.
• Act as acting manager when the Store Manager is off.
• Handle inventory, ordering, and merchandising.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming store and restrooms.
• Create and manage team schedules.
• Perform daily cash handling and deposits.
• Provide feedback and leadership to motivate the team.
• Other duties as assigned
