Job summary

Community Choice Financial Family of Brands is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for our Florence, SC location. You will lead daily store operations, drive customer service, and oversee loan and financial services while training and guiding team members.

You’ll manage risk, ensure accuracy in POS and cash handling, and contribute to growth through community-focused activities and quarterly goals. This role requires strong communication and supervisory experience and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum one year of customer service, sales, or retail experience.
• At least 3 months of supervisory or leadership experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency using phones, POS systems, Microsoft Office and related computer systems.
• Must be 18 years of age (19 in Alabama).
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance; personal vehicle used during workday.

Responsibilities

• Maximize customer success by offering financial services that fit their needs.
• Assess risk of financial transactions and process loan/pawn applications and check cashing transactions.
• Complete daily campaigns to market services and nurture customer relationships.
• Oversee account management and recovery processes and collect where appropriate.
• Maintain customer information in the POS system with accuracy.
• Provide coaching to Customer Service Representatives to ensure quality and safety.
• Perform duties on-site as needed, including store errands and external marketing.
• Meet performance standards and drive referrals and in-store events.
• Maintain store security, vault, and cash drawer procedures.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable laws.
