GPM Investments LLC is looking for an Assistant Manager for our high-energy Michigan convenience store. You will support the Store Manager, run the register, coach teammates, hire and train, and step in as acting manager when needed.

Open availability including weekends and holidays is required, with second or third shifts common. This role emphasizes customer service, inventory, scheduling, and daily cash handling.

Qualifications

• Open availability is a must.
• Weekends, holidays, and second or third shifts are expected.
• Must have a Food Safety Certification or be able to obtain it.
• Reliable transportation with a valid driver’s license and insurance proof.
• Minimum age of 18+ and proficient in English with basic math.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in day-to-day operations.
• Run the register and assist customers with speed and accuracy.
• Coach and motivate team members to upsell products and promotions.
• Help hire, train, and lead a high-performing team.
• Act as manager when the Store Manager is off.
• Handle inventory, ordering, and merchandising to keep stock full.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming store including restrooms and fuel pumps.
• Create and manage team schedules for full coverage.
• Perform daily cash handling and deposits, oversee store financials.
• Provide feedback and leadership to motivate the team to excel.
• Other duties as assigned.
